Christmas Cookies

I had quite a few cookie orders this year.  In total, I estimate about 30 dozen cookies made, over 10 batches.  That's a lot of cookies over the last few weeks added to a few nights of late decorating!  Christmas cookies are some of my favorites to bake and had a lot of fun this season! I offered cookie plates this year that included 2 dozen cookies with 4 different types: 6 decorated cookies, 6 Grinch, 6 Hot Cocoa Cookies & 6 Ginger Snap! A few custom orders were mixed in there as well and I ended up having to turn away some orders! I had a plate of two dozen hot cocoa cookies and two dozen butter cream cheese cookies (I forgot to take a pic of that plate, but they are included in the 3rd pic)! I mixed around the cookies per people's requests as well, if additional cookies were available!

Thank you everyone for your business!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Beach Cookies

I made 2 dozen beach themed cookies over the weekend!  I have beach balls, hibiscus flowers, sharks and some whales!  I really enjoyed making these and had fun trying some new techniques!  I didn't take many photos, but I think a bit of each type of cookies can be seen!

Mustache and Bow Ties

Sister will be having a little boy next month and a friend and I threw her baby shower. We threw "a Little Man" shower complete with mustaches and bow ties, so I added some cookies favors!! Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of them before they were wrapped or displayed, so there are some right after decorating them and up against an orange table cloth (which doesn't help the orange cookies).

Baptism Cookies

Husband and I have officially sold our first home and this was my last cookie order in said house!  It's bittersweet!

We (and my parents) were packing up my house and my entire kitchen was packed in boxes except my mixer and my baking cabinet! Even with all of my organization I needed to run to my neighbor Ashley's house to borrow 2 spoons, measuring cups and measuring spoons!  Well, I tried to be organized!  I stopped packing to decorate a dozen cookies for my friend's little boy's baptism and with everything going on I completely forgot to take a picture of them! She sweetly sent me a picture of each cookie! The one with polka dots says 'God Bless Brayden.'

Thank you Brandie for your business!

Peeps

Peep cookies with buttercream frosting covered in sprinkles! I will definitely use my regular frosting next time! The sprinkles held in too much moisture with buttercream frosting!

Train Cookies

This past week a sweet little boy turned two and had a Thomas the Train themed party. I made these train cookies to go along with it! They were so fun to make and I hope to make some trains again soon! I got so ahead of myself, I completely forgot to take any photos before I packaged them!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Miles!

Thank you, Dana for your business!

Pirate & Mermaid Party

My twins are turning two and in honor of them we threw a Pirate & Mermaid Themed party to celebrate with close friends and family.  We had 11 children under the age 3 there, so it was of course hectic and loud, but I loved it!  Below is my small dessert bar with cupcakes and cookies! The cookies are treasure maps with the path in the shape of a two and mermaids! The cupcakes are red velvet with a homemade cream cheese frosting..mmm!

I love love love their candles this year! I have been ordering them from an Etsy shop. She made their candles last year as well and I hope to continue this tradition of having themed candles! I love looking back at them and know I will in the future!
